Define A Higher Power That Is Non Judging
When I first began attending 12 step meetings a little over 20+ years ago, I heard that I could redefine my Higher Power. I was told that I was able to make him anything that I desired.
This was a great thing to learn as at that time in my life, the God of my childhood was not nice at all.
I won’t say that I was instructed about a judging God. But, I will different from what I was taught.
A large part of this ‘education’ included matters related to self esteem and self confidence.
So, when I found out that my Higher Power could be redefined, it was a huge relief. I was allowed to define my God as very Compassionate and that cared for me no matter what. I heard someone say that his God “knew what I was doing and loved me while I did it”.
I guess that a lot of us have learned “to act as if God is watching, because he is”. And, if this was the case, I was in deep trouble as the result of some of the acts I had performed while growing up.
After changing my beliefs I did not have to be concerned about being thrown into the “depths of Hell” for what I had done in my youth, I could start living a good life.
So, if you have a God that is not Compassionate, the best thing for you to do is to sit down and create a “designer God”.
I do not intend to be flippant about this but you need to have a God that is loving if you are going to live a comfortable life.
We don’t intend to be “looking over our shoulder” to make certain that our “punishing God” is not breathing down our neck.
Life is too short to be lived running from a God of our parents. It is time to define a God for you that is caring and loving.
I have heard it stated that our only trouble in life is our “sensed separation from God”. That separation is very easy to imagine if the God of your definition is punishing and mean.

Introducing Gemstone Energy Medicine

Gemstone energy medicine is the art and science of bringing health and harmony to all aspects of your body and being. It employs therapeutic-quality gemstones or oral remedies imparted with the energies of these gemstones. By using these gemstones or gemstone remedies in certain ways, you can help prevent, treat, and diagnosis health conditions. These benefits are gained by working with the gemstones in the body’s energy field. This energy field includes the aura that surrounds the body, plus the energetic counterparts of physically manifested tissue.
Gemstone energy medicine is based on the principle “as above, so below.” The energy field of the body exists “above” at a higher vibration than physical tissue. Another underlying premise is that the energetic condition of tissue and cells precedes its physical manifestation. Health concerns, diseases, weaknesses, pain, even injuries are caused first by disturbances in the energetic fabric. When you correct these disturbances, then health and harmony follows in the physical tissue.
Gemstone energy medicine also works at the emotional, karmic, and mental levels of your being. Here are found the energetic roots that cause energetic disharmony in the first place. Thus gemstone energy medicine is ideal not only for treatment of manifested health issues, but also for preventive therapy. If you use the gemstones or gemstone remedies that you are attracted to, disharmony at higher levels of your being will be corrected before it manifests physically.
Gemstone energy medicine practitioners respect the innate intelligence of the body, and recognize that intelligence exists at various levels and body centers. Levels of intelligence include the molecular, cellular, organ, organ system, and whole body, as well as the emotional, karmic, mental, and spiritual. Intelligence centers include the heart, head, stomach, and more specifically, each of the chakra centers.
You can use gemstone therapy to clear and open these intelligence centers to help you make better choices in your life. Once cleared, it becomes much easier to simply know what to do in the situations life presents. For example, what to do when challenged by relationship problems, what kind of exercise or dieting program would be most beneficial for you, how to succeed financially, what therapies will best treat a certain health condition, and even which gemstone remedies to take.
Advanced gemstone therapy students learn how to diagnose the energetic causes of health conditions. When you apply therapeutic gemstones in the aura, the energies of the patient’s body moves them in certain archetypical ways. Because each of these movements describe what is going on a person’s energetic fabric, a gemstone therapist can determine the types of energetic anomalies and imbalances that underlie a physical health condition.
A gemstone therapist also evaluates the gemstones that a patient’s energy field attracts, the purpose and anatomical affinities of these healing gems, plus the way the client’s energy field interacts with them. This process can also reveal the energetic nature of the disharmony and give clues about how to alleviate it.
Gemstone energy medicine works energetically, and is therefore considered a complementary modality. It can be safely applied with allopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, flower remedies, herbs, massage, cranial-sacral therapy, homeopathy, psychotherapy, and others. Gemstone energy medicine provides fundamental energetic support to enhance the benefits a patient receives from these other therapies.

Meditation has been part of man’s way of life for over two thousand years. All religions out there use some form of meditation as a way to achieve a higher spiritual consciousness in ones life.
At first meditation was used mostly by religious priests, but through the years meditation has been picked up by ordinary people when they discover just how the various benefits work.
If you are not really aware of what meditation is, basically you intensely focus on sounds, objects, ideas, a breathing rhythm, actions or even movements to be able to allow your perception to intensify, you will cut down on your stress levels, enhance relaxation, and gain personal and spiritual growth.
Meditation has been used in the past to build up a persons spiritual knowledge and even there awareness of the ultimate reality, but now it has begun to be employed by people who want to relieve stress and even pain.
With the latest understanding by Western medical practitioners of the important role of the mind in one’s ability to cope with health issues, more and more interest in meditation and its function in alleviating some physical ailments has made the practice an adjunct of traditional medical treatment.
It is interesting to note that medical clinics and hospitals across the nation have been offering the practice of meditation as a possible method for patients to improve their health. Meditation is currently employed as a method for treatment of some diseases, as an additional therapeutic process for a comprehensive treatment program and as a means of improving the quality of life of people with chronic, debilitating, or incurable illnesses.
There are three approaches to meditation, transcendental, relaxation response, and mindfulness meditation, which is the stress reduction way of meditation.
Meditation focuses on the seven major chakras, which also correspond to the body’s major endocrine glands.
By practicing meditation for at least 30 minutes daily greatly contributes to the balanced and harmonious interdependent functions of the body’s major chakras with one another.
You will notice the energy flowing from the root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye, and finally the crown chakras while meditating. Your whole body’s biological, emotional, and spiritual aspects become more nourished and balance the body cleansing physical, emotional and spiritual toxins.
With chakra meditation you will need to have deep concentration, and because of this uninterrupted flow of energy your body will also have a major boost to the chakras and the corresponding endocrine counterparts.
For a clearer grasp of chakra meditation, think of it as a turbocharger for the body; a sort of catalytic converter that gathers outside energy and channels the same into useful fuel of the body’s chakra system.
Since chakras are such an essential part of our body and its metaphysical and physical manifestations, the tuning of them is very important to our everyday lives. And it will also affect our lives in directly or indirectly, emotionally, physically, intellectually and even spiritually.
As previously mentioned, there are various ways to practice chakra meditation; regardless of the methods employed the initial and basic steps are almost all the same; to achieve concentration and allowing the state of focus to spread throughout the whole body.
You will not notice an immediate change from practicing chakra meditation, but more of a gradually change that will slowly take over your thoughts to give you a more positive outlook on life. Meditation is believed to help a person live a better life and be happier both physically and emotionally.
The biggest difference that most people notice from practicing chakra meditation is their ability to concentrate better and the awareness of things around them. This benefit will be noticed in only weeks of beginning, just imagine if you’ve been doing chakra meditation for years!
Also other noted benefits of chakra meditation are heightened creativity, better resourcefulness because of better perception. Also another proven benefit of chakra meditation is people tend to sleep much better and deeper, thus they will awake more refreshed in the morning, and overall health will also benefit by getting deeper sleep.
If you practice daily chakra meditations you will also notice a great reduction in the level of stress in all areas of your life. Because you will have better control over your emotions and better patience
It has been proven that overall health and well being are improved when a person practices meditation. You can even help to lower your blood pressure, and this will reduce the chances of heart attacks and strokes in a person. Also meditation will help to reduce stress in a person who is suffering from a chronic health condition; this will allow the person to feel less pain from their problems.
Although you may only practice meditation for half an hour daily, it will greatly contribute to making your day more relaxing and enjoyable and make you live a healthier, more productive life.

Essential Secrets to Chakra Balance

If you want to learn about the concept of chakra balance you have to understand chakra’s in general first. Chakras are our energy stations or centers. Chakras are your openings in your body for life energy to flow in and out of your aura.
Chakras associate with our mental, emotional and physical activity and one of their functions is developing the self conscious as well as revitalizing the bodies physical energy
What does a chakra look like, you might wonder. Most often they are likened to the appearance of a lotus flower, since they are have the appearance of a being funnel in their shape, with smaller funnels within the larger funnel.
Everyone has seven chakras and every chakra has a corresponding color association. Here we will learn of each chakra, the benefit of chakra balance and how they work to relieve stress and enhance your life and well being.
There are seven chakra’s starting from the base of your spine and ending at your head. They are the root chakra, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third eye or brow and ending at the crown chakra.
To achieve chakra balance, you should eat specific foods that encourage the grounding and revitalization of energy to your chakras. You may find this list of foods helpful for balancing your chakras.
The root chakra finds benefit from eating tofu, carrots, beans, potatoes, meats, parsnips, eggs, radishes, garlic and beets.
Sacral Chakra: Almonds, cinnamon, honey, mangos, melons, strawberries and many others.
The solar plexus chakra benefits by consuming such foods as milk, cheese, cereal, flax seed, mints, ginger and various others, since they are helpful for building the self esteem.
The heart chakra benefits by eating thyme, sage, spinach, basil, broccoli and green teas, since they encourage the healing of emotional upsets.
Throat Chakra: Apples, kiwi, lemons, lemon grass, limes, plums, pears and salt, since these foods and spices aid in speaking your truth.
You can awaken the senses of the third eye by feeding the brow chakra with such foods as poppy seeds, lavender, red grapes, blueberries and black berries.
Crown Chakra: To aid in cleansing and opening the spiritual connection and communication of your crown chakra, you might enjoy making use of incenses such as copal, frankincense, juniper, myrrh and sage.
This is only a partial list of some of the foods, drinks, and spices that will help out your chakra. For a chakra balance you just need to learn how to focus better on your chakra centers.
You can also do a chakra balance by using gemstones and placing the gemstone on each chakra point, with each point you can do an individual chakra balance and leave a gemstone on your chakra for three to five minutes depending on the amount of balance you feel you need to accomplish. You would start at the root chakra when doing this.
You may choose to use any type of gemstone, however, you should be aware that some individuals recommend particular gemstones for each chakra center, although the choice of gemstone may vary from one individual to another. You can easily test the theory by alternating gemstones until you find your perfect match. You may notice a humming once you have your gemstones in place on your chakras, or perhaps a feel good feeling when utilizing the best gemstones. If you experience any negative feelings, or the gemstone just does not feel right, remove it and do not use it for chakra work at all.
Experiment with various gemstones until you find the one that provides you with the best feelings and then make a list of the chakra and the type of gemstones you use. For example, you may wish to use a black onyx on your root chakra, which is popular with many individuals, however, it may not be the best choice of gemstone to use for your chakra. Never assume that a suggested gemstone is the best choice for you to use, since what works for some, may not work for others. Experiment until you find your perfect gemstone.
You can achieve chakra balance all at once, by placing your gemstones on each chakra center at the same time, leaving them in place for anywhere between three to twenty-five minutes, depending upon how much balance you feel your chakra requires.
Many people are finding that the easiest and quickest way to achieve chakra balance is by using the latest audio technology which balances your own chakras by reproducing the sound frequency associated with each one.
Just by listening to the special sounds on headphones your chakras become instantly balanced!
