What Your Skin Hates

The happier your skin is, the more radiant it looks. To keep your skin at its best, give it the love it deserves and steer clear of these harmful habits.
Sun damage is the primary cause of premature aging, uneven skin pigmentation, and even skin cancer. What looks like a fashionable tan is actually the skin’s response to damaging ultraviolet rays. Nor is the sun the only culprit; tanning beds also bombard skin with ultraviolet light. Even a short session on the tanning bed or beside the pool puts unprotected skin at risk. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen that offers protection from both UVA and UVB radiation on exposed skin every day and your skin will love you for it.
Although it’s meant to beautify, makeup has the opposite effect if left on overnight. Even high-quality cosmetics can clog pores and lead to breakouts if left on your face while you sleep. Choose an oil-free makeup remover to erase any trace of your makeup before you give your skin its nightly cleansing.
Makeup isn’t the only pore-clogger, though. Dirt and natural oils can also leave pores clogged and cause blemishes. Not all blemishes are the result of a dirty face, but a dirty face almost always produces blemishes. Choose a thorough, but gentle cleanser designed especially for the sensitive skin of your face. Soaps meant for the body can be too harsh on delicate facial skin and cause irritation.
If you do get a blemish, resist the urge to pop or pick at it. Squeezing a pimple may make it less obvious at the time, but it can also spread bacteria to surrounding skin and lead to bigger breakouts. Picking at blemishes may even leave permanent scars, pits, or discoloration. If you have troubled skin on a regular basis, try changing up the products you use; you might just be using a product that doesn’t get along with your skin. A visit to a dermatologist can also provide relief for more serious acne.
You might enjoy a few drinks sometimes, but too many of them can take a toll on your skin. Alcohol dilates small blood vessels in the skin, leaving your complexion blotchy. Over time, heavy alcohol intake can cause broken capillaries and a permanently flushed face. While a splash of cool water works as a temporary fix, your skin will thank you in the long run for limiting your consumption.
Your skin isn’t so temperamental as to get unhappy from a few special-occasion glasses of champagne or makeup that stays on too long once in a while, but don’t make a habit of neglecting your skin. Treat your skin well and it will love you for a lifetime.

Celebrities have been using lace front wigs to change their hairstyles and appearance for years.
If a lace front wig is applied correctly, it will be undetectable and appear as if the hair is growing directly from your scalp.
As lace front wigs grow in popularity, more and more women are interested in utilizing them for more hairstyling options and versatility.
The only downside is that lace wigs tend to be very costly. Depending on the style and type of hair, they can range in price from a couple hundred to several thousand dollars.
There are several ways that you can grab a high quality lace front wig at a fraction of the retail price. Listed below are several places to find cheap lace front wigs:
Ebay - Believe it or not, Ebay is a fantastic place to buy cheap lace front wigs. Many times you can find items for 30 - 50% less than what retailers would charge for them.
Beauty Supply Stores - If you comparison shop at beauty supply stores on and offline you will more than likely find that most of them carry a similar variety of wigs and each of them sells their stock at different prices. Comparison shop and purchase your lace front from the store who offers you the best deal. Also be sure to check the wigs they have discounted or have put on clearance.
Purchase A Synthetic Lace Front Wig - Synthetic lace front wigs are significantly lower in price than human hair wigs. There are a lot of beautiful styles to choose from. Color Depositing Shampoo: The Nuts and Bolts

You color your hair, right? And like most you likely love what the color does for your hair but not have what you have to do to get the affect? You know the regular touch up thing? Not to mention color fade.
Okay so going to the salon every - you fill in the frequency - for coloring concerns is not only expensive it’s also inconvenient. But what if there was someway to keep your hair color bright and alive without the hassle?
Some would say your wish has come true in the form of color depositing shampoos that are available in most any shade you can imagine.
So how would you describe color depositing shampoo?
It’s a product that can help you maintain and protect color treated hair. This product is designed to avoid the color fading you notice when using regular shampoos. As well it’s a way to impart rich tones too.
Now to extend the life of your color and avoid annoying fade select a color depositing shampoo that best matches the color of your hair. This is a great way to extend the life of highlights, streaks or color treated hair as these shampoos are gentle so as to avoid stripping off any color.
You use it like a regular shampoo. Nothing to it really.
Just so you realize any color enhancement is going to be fleeting at best. Think of it like mixing some temporary coloring into your regular shampoo. Doing that would deposit color on your strands not getting penetration into the cuticle. This way no damage can be done. But nothing permanent has changed either.
Also when looking at which brand to go with some would suggest sticking with those found on the shelves at your hair dresser’s salon. They are better quality and may last longer too. The trade off is a higher price tag but your hair may come off better for it.
With all the advantages are there any drawbacks? Well, as you’d expect like all products these too have their limitations.
For example these shampoos may not lather up as much as you’d like. Which is due in large part to what is or isn’t on the ingredient list.
Obviously they cannot fix a bad color job. But I’d hope you wouldn’t expect them to.
You’ll want to take care when it comes to shower enclosures, tubs and towels too. As with any coloring product you can end up with stains where you don’t want them.
Also those with hair that is damaged, permed or chemically straightened may find their locks may take on more color than otherwise.
Now be sure to pay attention to any color charts you find to help you make the right selection so you get the one best suited for your hair color.
Also some find it best to mix this type of shampoo in with what they usually use to lather up if they’ve got hair light in color or that has only been highlighted.
Then too, as an alternative you might use a clear glaze to keep your color looking fresher longer. Not to mention what such glazes will do for the shine too.
Regardless, I’ve tried to give you a different alternative to repeat salon visits to keep your hair color fresh and lively.

Tips For Relaxed Hair Care

There are two kinds of hair looks that turn heads the fastest ” the bad hair day look and the relaxed hair look. Most people have heard the bad-hair-day greeting, whether its directed at them or someone else in the office. Looks like you’re having a bad hair day there, Bob!, someone will say in jest. Its not a compliment, but usually its used as a term of endearment. And then there are those people, who’ll get the comment, I like what you did to your hair today!, and that’s definitely intended as a compliment.
Whether you have a sassy blond hairstyle, striking red head, or deep, deep black mane of hair, regardless of the colour, people only really notice when its healthy and shiny, and that’s the relaxed hair look.
How do you get your hair to look so healthy, shiny and smooth? There is a chemical that you can put on your hair, called a relaxer, but you do want to be careful that it doesn’t have a reverse effect.
Before applying your hair relaxer, speak to a professional stylist about which hair relaxer to use. If you use the wrong one for your hair, you’ll end up with hair breakage or weak and lifeless hair.
Here are a few pointers to keep in mind:
1:Apply some pre-conditioner on your hair so that it protects your hair.
2:Up your protein content. Relaxers reduce the protein content in your hair so you want to get the protein from a healthy diet, which might include green vegetables and soybeans.
3:Wash your relaxed hair two or more times a week. Relaxing robs your hair of the natural moisturizers, and washing your hair adds moisture to your hair. You’ll also want to deep condition your hair at least twice a month.
4:Stay away from the blow dryer. Exposure to heat dries and damages your hair. Let your hair air dry, and don’t rub it with a towel either.
5:Stay away from the hair dyes. If you must colour your relaxed hair, use only semi permanent hair dyes. Permanent hair colour contains peroxide which damages your hair.
You can also have some fun with your hair care. For example, using a satin pillow might seem like a luxury but it will help prevent breakage. And then you can also wrap a scarf around your head before sleeping.
