How I Finally Hit The Weight Level I Wanted To

My weight problems started a few years back and despite the efforts to undergo every possible program - it all seem to go in vain. I came across an article one day suggesting that a weight loss journal can be of help to my cause, so I gave it a try. Blogging is a fad these days anyway.
Because I couldn’t think of anything else to that will convince me to shed off my unwanted pounds, I realized that there’s nothing wrong if I give it a try. Besides the possibility that I’ll miss my favorite TV shows because I’ll be busy blogging, what do I have to lose?
Here’s what’s exciting about it: keeping a blog about your efforts to lose weight through diet and workout will benefit your cause. How? That’s simple. The mere fact that you are tracking down the progress of your current weight loss program through a blog is already doing you good. In fact, I myself write about my food intake in each of the blogs I have with all truthfulness.
Strangely enough, my weight loss blog made me feel in-charge of my actions. Because I know that all eyes are on me, I have to be cautious so I will not disappoint the people around me. Little by little, I was able to drop a few pounds and my blog serves as my documentation.
Suddenly, my weight-related practices are beginning to improve. Despite the two-month wait, I felt satisfied as my waistline was reduced.
I give the credit to my blog for such achievement. Furthermore, I feel happy that there are people who actually read my thoughts - they are even there to back me up on my goal to lose weight.
But it doesn’t end there. Tell you what, a month after I started, I got paid for writing blog entries about my weight loss. Simply put, earning money while blogging is not a bad idea at all.
I’m $20 richer every month just by writing about my thoughts on weight loss and other relevant topics. Not to mention the fact that I’m also helping myself get back in shape quickly.

Fat Loss! Stop and Think for a Second.
It is a known fact that 3500 calories is a pound of body weight and to lose one pound, you must reduce your intake of calories by 3,500. Given that information, if you want to lose five pounds in one week, you must reduce your calories by 17,500!
Seriously, if your average diet is 2000 calories per day, which is enough to keep you healthy, you only take in 14,000 calories for the entire week. You can take off one pound, but that won’t work to lose five pounds in one week, because you don’t have anything to keep you alive. Losing five pounds means burning everything you eat in a week, plus 500 calories that you don’t have every day. Or don’t eat for nine days. Obviously, if your goal is five pound per week, you can’t do it by diet alone.
When you cut out food, your body will throw all of it’s protein under the bus trying to protect itself. Without food, your body makes a bunch of decisions. (This is your body, not you. It’s a physiology thing.) After it takes all of the protein out of your muscle, (I’ll come back to body builders in a minute) your body will start to live on carbohydrates and when that happens you will gain weight! Your body will go into hibernation mode. You have to change the way your body works to make fat go away. It’s called METABOLISM. Your metabolism slows down and you won’t lose any weight, you’ll gain more.
You have to control the burn rate, not the caloric intake. I mentioned body builders a minute ago. They eat like they will never have another meal. For all the food they take in, they should weight 400 pounds, but they don’t. They have learned to speed up their metabolism, so what they eat is going into muscle building, not fat storing.
One thing is for sure: Body Builders don’t eat a lot of Big Macs and Whoppers. They have a totally different diet, and couple with some simple exercises, they control their metabolisms. If you like that sort of look, they are usually pretty hot, too. They eat like they will never have another meal. For all the food they take in, they should weight 400 pounds, but they don’t. They have learned to speed up their metabolism, so what they eat is going into muscle building, not fat storing.
Fact is, you can’t just diet and make fat go away, so you have to make a complete lifestyle choice. You want to lose weight? Start with a little exercise. Get your metabolism kicked up. Once that starts to take off a little weight, THEN you start your diet, and after that you increase your exercise. When you start AFTER you have increased your metabolism, the work will be more effective. The pounds will come off faster and more easily. The weight loss is a lifestyle change and more likely to stay off.
Understand that you put your weight on because you don’t burn everything that you eat. You store some of it, and over time, that weight builds up. Problem is, storage is driven by what you eat and that consumption is mostly about water. Protein is 75% water. When you go on a diet, after you clear out the water you burn protein from your storehouse.
You can’t just diet fat off because your body will give away all of it’s protein to protect itself, so you start to live on carbohydrates- and gain weight. When you lower your food intake, you lose protein, and this loss lowers your burn rate.
Ifyour diet seems to be taking forever, consider that 3500 calories is one pound. Here’s your chance, come to my website at the link, or see my blog. There’s lots of articles and the blog has some interesting opinions as well.

Beneath, you will find some myth busters on healthy eating.
1. Exercising before eating anything.
Should you hear a rumbling noise inside your tummy, the rumbling is attempting to tell you something. Should you not listen to them, you might be forcing your body to run without any fuel. Before you decide to exercise or do any physical demands, never fail to eat a light snack such as an apple.

4. Reduced carb diet programs.
The body requires carbohydrates for the muscles and also the storing of energy.
5. Eating what you would like.
Maintaining a healthy diet and working out doesn’t give you an all access pass to eat what you want. People need the same nutrients whether they exercise or not, in addition to fruits and vegetables.
6. Not enough calories
Despite the fact that reducing your weight involves calories, losing it too quickly is never safe. What you should do, is shoot for one to two pounds per week. Always make sure that you are getting enough calories to maintain the body operating efficiently. Should you start dropping weight too fast, eat a little more food.
7. Forget about coke and booze.
Water, milk, and juice is the best to drink for active men and women. Make sure you drink often, without having to require on thirst to be an indicator. When you get thirsty, the body is already running a bit too low.

Withdrawal Syndrome

One of the problems many smokers have is dealing with the symptoms of withdrawal. This is partly because the symptoms are so strong, but is also largely because they are unexpected. For this reason, it is important for smokers who are trying to quit to be aware of the possible withdrawal symptoms ahead of time and to make plans for dealing with them.
Dizziness
Often, you will experience wooziness when you stop smoking. This is as of the increase in oxygen in the blood mixed with the blood pressure lowering back to business.Because of this, it is vital for you to take care if making an attempt to give up. Be acutely aware of this chance and do not work too hard. You may try going for a stroll, getting fresh air, or slowly changing positions. Dizzy spells often lasts for a couple of days before going away.
Coughing, Runny Nose, and Sore Throat
No, this is not a cold. When you quit smoking, your body’s respiration system attempts to clean itself out. This may cause pointless coughing and even a running nose.
It’s best to drink plenty of liquids at this time to help your body clean itself. At the same time, you’ll get a sore throat. This is as your throat is clearing away the tar and nicotine and growing new tissues. Sucking on candy or throat lozenges can be useful as can eating honey.
Tightness in Chest, Flatulence, Constipation, and Headaches
Again, you are not sick. This isn’t influenza , these are withdrawal pains as your body tries to get over the nicotine, tar, and other poisons it endured from smoking. The tight chest is really caused from all of the coughing you’ve been doing. Your chest muscles became sore, so you must do relaxation methods and try some deep respiring to chill your chest muscles. The movement in your guts briefly slowing down causes the wind and bowel obstruction.
If you eat loads of fiber and drink plenty of liquids, you must see a little relief. The headaches are the results of an increased blood flow to your cortex. In addition, this blood has more oxygen. Relaxation strategies and drinking liquids will also help with this problem.
Mood Changes, Concentration Troubles, and Fatigue
You may undoubtedly feel irritable or annoyed when you quit smoking. This is commonly because your body is frenzied to get more nicotine. Relaxing exercises will help you get through this. It’s also crucial to let your hate out in a safe way. If you try to bottle it up, you will become tenser and you can feel a larger need to have another fag. You can also have trouble concentrating.
This goes back to the increased blood flow to you brain. Essentially, your cortex isn’t used to this and isn’t sure what to do. It is employed to counting on the kick offered by the nicotine. It’ll take two weeks for it to recollect the easy way to do its job without assistance from the drug. At the same time, you’ll experience feelings of fatigue. This is as your constitution rate returns to standard after you quit smoking.
It’s critical that you don’t over exert yourself at this time. Give your body time to become modified to the change. This should take a fortnight. Withdrawal pains can start to appear as fast as four hours after your last fag. For most folk, the force of the systems reaches its top about three to 5 days and they vanish after 2 weeks.
Boredom
You might even experience boredom or feel like you are cooped up. This is because you are missing your “friend,” the cigarette. You are used to spending time with your cigarette and occupying yourself with smoking. You need to try to find new things to do that will keep both your hands and your mind busy. Try riding a bike, going for a short walk, or swimming. Or, do a small task that will keep your hands busy, such as cooking, doing dishes, painting, writing a letter, knitting, sewing, or gardening. You might even run a few errands or get out of the house for another reason, such as to watch a movie.

I Used Karate to have the Strongest Mind in the World
Zingo bingo! The Strongest Mind ever to exist in the Whole Wide World! Able to woo any dame and beat up any villain, and…sounds a bit too good to be true, doesn’t it?
Oddly, the thing that I did worked, but not in the way I had anticipated. So let me tell you method I utilized, for free, and see how you do. Are you ready to have the Strongest Mind in the World, maybe in the universe?
I once came across the concept that a man who can concentrate on one thing for three minutes can takeover the whole world. The point was that to stay mentally concentrated on one thing, to put it simply, expands the mental wattage. Having read this, and wanting to have the most fully functional brain allowed by the powers that be, or anybody else, I decided to do it.
I was doing doing Karate at the time, and exploring martial forms such as Sticky Hands from Wing Chun Gung Fu, and various other martial styles, and I really thought that I had the mental willpower to pull anything off. I did my kata, I could remain calm during freestyle, and I had the discipline. Now all I had to do was apply that discipline to pursuing Nirvana, seeking enlightenment, or whatever you want to call it.
I decided to use a simple, little rock to shape the ultimate concentration and the resulting explosion of pure mentality which, I hoped, wouldn’t shatter the universe too badly. A rock, after all, was what the earth was, and the shape of the thing was round, like the whole darned universe, and it seemed so neat and appropriate. So I went into a nearby field and chose a well shaped rock, and prepared to turn on my enlightenment.
I sat down under a tree, placed the rock before me, and focused on it. I tried not to think, I tried to just be aware of the rock, and to ignore all those silly little surface thoughts, like what was for lunch and what the latest movie was, or what I was going to do that weekend. I was, after all, going to shatter down the doors to heaven, so what use could such mundane thoughts have for me, right?
After three minutes I got to my feet, tossed the rock aside, and started walking away, totally disgusted with how boring the whole thing was. I mean, to think that I was going to become an enlightened being just by being able to think at a rock, how stupid, how boring! Suddenly, my body was jerked to a halt as a sudden thought overwhelmed me.
It wasn’t the stupid, little rock that was so darned boring, it was me that was boring. All that boredom was coming out of me, and I realized something…I would never be bored again. And I suddenly knew that I had achieved some form of enlightenment, the thing had worked, but not at all how I thought it would.
