Lose Pounds and Looking Wonderful On Your Wedding Day

You dream of your wedding day your whole life. Looking perfect is a must, and for many, that means weight loss is a major concern.
While they are thinking about booking a reception hall or hiring a photographer, weight loss never escapes the bride’s mind. You deserve to be the center of attention and to hear, ?She looks amazing!? on your special day. Here are some tips to get your guests gazing in admiration.
1. Nutrition is paramount.
Many brides feel like they need to lose some weight before they can fit into the dress of their dreams, but do yourself a big favor: don’t resort to depriving your body of food and nutrition.
You can get into the shape you want by following a safe and healthy weight loss plan for nutrition. The key is to start early so you have plenty of time. Quick weight loss isn’t always healthy or safe.
* Cut 200-250 calories from your diet. That’s a big soda or a few cookies. Not much of a sacrifice for looking great!
* Eat your regular meals. When you skip meals, your body thinks its starving. So instead of saving yourself some calories, you are actually causing your body to store fat.
* Add more fiber and protein to your diet for better health and quicker weight loss.
* Skip the convenience foods. If you are too busy to eat right, start bringing healthy snacks with you on your errands.
* Find non-food ways to relieve your stress. Planning a wedding and preparing to be married is very stressful. Don’t turn to food. Try meditation, yoga, or regular exercise. These have the added bonus of helping you lose even more weight.
* Don’t get carried away with pre-wedding parties. Instead of grabbing a calorie-laden, bloat-inducing alcoholic drink, try water instead.
* Cut empty calories (like sugary desserts - opt for fruit instead if you crave sweetness).
2. Your body needs exercise.
If you want to lose weight for your wedding, don’t wait until a week before the big event. That is not going to work.
Your body is not made to change that drastically in only a few days. You have to be committed to following a healthy nutrition and exercise plan if you want to lose weight for your wedding. Expecting your body to change in days is unrealistic.
* If you don’t exercise, start. Do anything that gets your body moving. If you exercise regularly, add intensity and variety to see faster results.
* For exercise regulars, try something different. A Bride Boot Camp video can help you add the needed intensity and challenge that your body needs to get over any plateau and to reinvigorate your weight loss efforts.
* Dance. It is always fun to move to music - you won’t even realize you’re exercising. But your body will. It also helps you get ready for your first dance as a wife.
* Some great exercises to try are:
- Cardio of any kind. Whether it is walking, biking, or swimming, cardio helps you lose weight and get your heart healthy.
- Pushups. They’re not just for soldiers anymore - and they help give you gorgeous chest, back, and shoulder muscles.
- Lunges. These are effective for defining and tightening your thighs and butt. For even better results, add a chest press.
- Yoga and Pilates are effective for giving you a leaner, more graceful look.
- Resistance bands help add intensity and difficult to cardio or strength training routines.
- Good posture can make you appear thinner. You’ll also look more confident and beautiful.
3. Common mistakes brides make when they want to lose weight
* Not starting soon enough. Many people delay their weight loss program, thinking they have plenty of time. Soon, you are down to a month before the wedding. This is just not enough time to lose weight in a healthy manner. Weight loss doesn’t happen overnight, and if you try to make it, you can damage your health.
* Skipping the exercise. Exercise is essential: it helps you lose weight, keep it off, and give your body a more toned, sexy look. You need to do it!
* Skipping meals. This is worth repeating because so many people try to stop eating to lose weight. Don’t! Your body thinks it is starving and stops burning fat. It is a survival mechanism that you can’t trick your body out of. Eat!
* Having unrealistic goals. If you have always been about a size 12, you’re not going to magically become a size 4 for your wedding. This is fine - it’s your body. You can still tone your body and look amazing on your day. Choose a dress that flatters your real body, not the one you wish you had.
Losing weight before your wedding takes time and preparation, just like the wedding itself.
Have a celebratory glass of champagne after your boyfriend pops the question. The next day, get started on a healthy, safe weight loss program that can help you look your best.

Pick Out Some Effective Weight Loss Tips for Lasting Weight Loss

Losing weight is one of the most difficult things that many people face in their everyday life, especially if it has been a life-long battle. Often, you are your own worst critic, repeating criticisms over and over:
* I’ve got to lose fifty pounds!
* I am ruining my health with this extra weight.
* I’ve got to get up and start exercising now.
These thoughts overwhelm and frustrate us, which can stall our weight loss efforts and perpetuate the problem. Also overwhelming is the sheer amount of weight loss tips out there.
Instead of letting the critical thoughts and avalanche of tips drown you in inertia, try the following strategies:
1. Make one change every week.
Trying to institute a bunch of new healthy habits into your life is overwhelming, and you’re dooming yourself to failure. Instead, trying picking one good habit (adding more fiber to your diet, cut out soda, exercise for thirty minutes three times a week, etc.) each week.
Your body is a creature of habit. To make something a habit, you have to repeat it. Choosing just one habit per week gives your body time to adjust and incorporate the change into your life permanently. One change at a time is manageable, and it is a great way to start. You can always build from there, and you’ll begin to notice results.
2. Concentrate on one aspect of fitness at a time.
When you are trying to lose weight, the best approach is to make lasting changes in your lifestyle. Because it is so hard to change ingrained habits like going from a couch potato with bad eating habits to a fit, healthy person, it is best to start with one major area of weight loss.
Begin by working out regularly. Even small improvements, such as taking the stairs or walking during your lunch hour, can have big results. In addition to the little changes, add a few days of exercise. When you are comfortable and have been able to work out regularly for several weeks, then it is time to concentrate on diet.
Changing both your ways to eating and exercising can be difficult if you try to do too much at once. It is much more effective to focus on one aspect at a time.
3. Make changes with a friend.
It is easier to change when you have someone to help! It can be your spouse, friend, child, parent, whoever.
People who have strong support stick with their weight loss programs better than those going it alone. Simply having a partner can help you lose weight more quickly and, most importantly, keep it off.
Having a partnership is beneficial because you have help when you are having a tough time. Also, being the one offering the support helps you keep your own goals in mind. Tackling weight loss together makes change a more lasting part of your life.
4. Be as good to yourself as you are to others.
You would never advise your child or a valued friend to go on a fad diet, starve her/himself, exercise obsessively, or abandon all pleasures in pursuit of weight loss. You would advise them to eat healthy, exercise regularly, and not give up because the weight will come off.
When it comes to yourself, though, you would probably throw all that advice out the window. Don’t. Take your own advice, and do what is best and most healthy for your body.
If you have struggled with weight loss, you know that “diets” don’t work. Instead of following every new fad, use the above tips to make lasting changes in your life and weight.
Give yourself the best chance for success - you can lose weight, keep it off, and get healthier.
Look for top fat loss programs like the outstanding tom venuto burn the fat. An alternative choice is no nonsense muscle to try another method to lose weight.
